The People behind Britannia Wellness
I’m David Mynett, founder of Britannia Wellness. My journey in health and wellness began during my 25 years of service in the British Royal Navy, where I had the privilege of working in physical rehabilitation and wellness, helping service men and women recover from severe injuries and rebuild their strength and confidence.
I was honored to serve aboard Her Majesty’s Royal Yacht Britannia before dedicating myself to rehabilitation, working as part of a triage team alongside surgeons and therapists. Together, we provided care for seriously injured service members returning from active duty in Iraq, Afghanistan, and beyond. These experiences taught me the importance of resilience, movement, and holistic recovery.
After moving to Florida, I continued my mission of service by joining the Wounded Warrior Project, where I supported U.S. veterans through both physical and mental health challenges. Today, through Britannia Wellness, I bring that same passion and expertise to the wider community.
The name Britannia Wellness reflects both my heritage and my service:
• My time aboard Her Majesty’s Yacht Britannia
• Two tours at Britannia Royal Naval College
• And a lasting connection to Great Britain, where my family and great friends still live.
Now based in St. Johns, Northeast Florida, I am proud to help people of all ages and abilities improve mobility, reduce pain, achieve their wellness and sporting goals, and discover renewed energy for life.
At Britannia Wellness, my mission is simple: to help you move better, feel alive, and live better.
